Pull Rates by Set

How likely is a hit? These are the odds of pulling each rarity, per set — as “1 in N packs” and as expected hits per 36-pack booster box.

The Pokémon Company publishes no official pull rates. Where a mass opening has been published, we show its figures exactly as published — every set page names and links the source, with its sample size and the date we last checked it. For sets where we found no published opening, we show no numbers rather than unsourced estimates.

Poké Life pull-rate check for TCG Vault

Our pull-rate pages were independently checked against their sources in Poké Life's pull-rate audit. Every pull-rate page was compared with the study it credits. The badge links to the full check.

FAQ

Are these pull rates official?

No — The Pokémon Company doesn't publish pull rates. The figures come from published mass openings, mostly TCGplayer's pack-opening studies. Each set page links its source and sample size. Print runs can differ.

What does “1 in N packs” mean?

On average, one card of that rarity appears in every N packs. It's an average over a large sample — any individual box can deviate substantially.

Why do some sets have no pull rates?

For these sets we found no published mass opening that documents its sample. Rather than copy numbers from other sites or show unsourced estimates, we leave the table empty until a study appears.
